Additional Details

Our growing company has a career opportunity for an Office Manager in west Edmonton. This is a fast paced role in which you will be part of our office management team and will help to oversee the accounts receivable team and all of its functions.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Responsible for supervising and assisting the accounts receivable staff. Some of the functions of the accounts receivable team include:

Generate and send out invoices

Process both cheque and EFT payments

Investigate and resolve customer queries by phone or email

Perform account reconciliation

Maintain accounts receivable files and records

Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

Assist our credit department with routine collections

Resolve payment discrepancies

Process adjustments

Get involved in more difficult credit collection, before it is passed on to the credit department

Manage the cohesiveness and camaraderie within the office department

Provide training and coaching to the accounts receivable staff

Collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents

Perform various other administrative/supervisory duties

Good judgment and decision-making ability

Shows self-initiative

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Previous experience is a definite asset but is not required.
