Our growing dealership is looking for a full-time shop assistant.
Full-time employees are entitled to coverage under our Group Benefits plan and participation in our RRSP matching program. We pay 100% of the premiums for Extended Health, Dental, and MSP.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the Shop Assistant include the following:
Ensures the service lot is organized and that all vehicles in for service are properly parked in the appropriate spots
Assists Technicians and performs intermediate skilled work maintaining and repairing automotive fleet and equipment.
Inspect and service vehicles; assist in ordering and obtaining necessary parts and supplies
Cleaning and organizing the shop
Assist Service Technicians as required
Assist in customer and loaner car wash
Perform other mechanic duties as required
Valid BC driver's license and a good driving record
Basic mechanical skills and able to lift up to 70 lbs
Strong computer skills
Desire to learn and develop technical abilities
