Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager - Ribo 55k++

Minimum 2+ years Personal Lines insurance experience
Valid RIBO license in good standing or alternatively an OTL with a desire to obtain a RIBO
Must be fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Must be polished and professional with a solid foundation and thorough understanding of personal lines insurance

Additional Details

Our client in Mississauga is currently in search of a dynamic insurance professional. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and motivated individual with a strong desire to play an intricate role to the Personal Lines team. This individual will also be responsible to liaise with insurance companies fostering relationships and maintaining the reputation and service standards of the brokerage. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of insurance experience processing new policy information, endorsements, changes, up-selling, cross-selling, general inquiries, renewals, reinstatements, and all other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:

Providing excellent day-to-day service to clients and handling the client file activities including, but not limited to renewals, follow-up on new leads for potential new business, endorsements, retention and cancellations, etc.

Cross sell, up sell all appropriate coverages and New Business

Binds accounts/coverage with insurer

Continuously maintain professional relationships internally and externally with key underwriters to ensure proper growth for new business and retention

Represent the brokerage at industry functions, when required always in a professional and respectful manner


Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Must be polished and professional with a solid foundation and thorough understanding of personal lines insurance

Strong customer service focus

Strong analytical, organization and time management skills

Strong team player

Ability to adapt to and work cooperatively with all individuals

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in MS Office, previous experience with TAM and other industry software

CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion a definite asset

Cantonese and Mandarin languages a definite asset
