Office / Operations Manager With P&c Experience

RIBO license in good standing

Additional Details

We are looking for an Office/Operations Manager with Bookkeeping experience north of Toronto. You require a RIBO license and have previous managerial experience. You will directly report to the partners. This organization is looking for a result driven individual with excellent communication and time management skills. You are analytical, pay strong attention to detail and methodical in your thinking.
Responsibilities:

Managing general operations

HR Responsibilities: hiring of staff/firing/dealing with internal issues amongst the staff

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable – Invoicing and collections

Month End Procedures – review bank statements/trail balance/balance sheet/income statement/AR/Journal entries, review of accounts to balance, review commissions accounts, review Agency Bill and Direct Bill accounts for discrepancies

Payroll for both Staff and Commission sales – review sales reports and calculate manually for smaller book of business

PST remittance – review sales reports for any discrepancies and process payment

Review MVR reports monthly with CGI

Review o/s transactions monthly

Review NB reports and calculate for staff gift cards on monthly basis

Review Mastercard statements and breakdown for partners and submit payment

Manage 3 offices

Manage vacation/sick/lunch schedules amongst the CSR/Reception staff

Conduct monthly CSR meetings

Conduct monthly Receptionist meetings

Continue to work on workflow procedures

Direct Bill Reconciliations completed monthly – balance accounts – this process is used to process payroll properly for commission staff


Requirements:

RIBO license in good standing

7+ years in the P&C industry with at least 3-4 years in a management role

Excellent bookkeeping knowledge with previous 3+ years’ experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Time Management skills with the ability to prioritize
