Opportunities exist for Journeyman Electricians with experience in the maintenance of heavy industrial electrical facilities.

The Journeyman Electrician position will include troubleshooting PLC’s and VFD’s and maintaining overhead cranes and DC motors. Any experience in these areas is an asset.

Additional Details

We are a scrap-based mini-mill operation located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The plant has both melting and casting facilities, and a production capability of over 350,000 tonnes of steel billets annually.

Job Requirements & Expectations:
Opportunities exist for Journeyman Electricians with experience in the maintenance of heavy industrial electrical facilities.

The Journeyman Electrician position will include troubleshooting PLC’s and VFD’s and maintaining overhead cranes and DC motors. Any experience in these areas is an asset.

The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for maintaining heavy industrial equipment.

Requirements:
The successful candidate is Alberta Journeyman certified or has an Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician ticket.

Details:
This is a full time, permanent position with health benefits, pension program, income sharing and shift differentials.
