Position: Project Manager
Location: Edmonton
(Industrial & Manufacturing)

MUST HAVE experience as a manufacturing or industrial PM to qualify for this role.

You will work closely with the company's Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams, as well as with the client to coordinate, monitor, and execute the day-to-day technical and commercial responsibilities for various industrial projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the direction and execution of all planning, engineering, procurement, material management and project controls activities.
Establishing effective and lasting relationships with the client.
Interpreting engineering data and evaluating analytical solutions to prepare estimates, trends, engineering work packages (EWPs), and construction work packages (CWPs).
Dedicating yourself to surpassing the needs and expectations of the client and company management, while pursuing innovative ways to do so.
Aligning progress with schedule requirements to ensure that budgets are met and that overall project quality meets client specifications.
Developing processes and management structures that optimize productivity.
Actively pursuing new opportunities to help the company grow and achieve beyond the scope of a given project.
Integrating yourself into the shared culture of the company, while helping to strengthen and develop it.

We are looking for team members who have the following qualifications:
An engineering degree from an accredited university and registration with APEGA or an equivalent; electrical disciplines preferred.
5 (five)+ years of Project Management experience preferred - EPC/Engineering/Industrial Construction experience an asset.
Experience with the technical or commercial management of EPC activities in the petrochemical industry an asset.
Heat management system experience desired.
PMP designation an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to forge effective relationships through all organizational levels.
Superior leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
A high-level proficiency using advanced methods of data collection and analysis.
Knowledge of project controls, including cost management, estimating, scheduling, work planning, and the application of risk analysis tools within the petrochemical industry is an asset.
