Warehouse Shipper/receiver
Job Overview
The warehouse is a fast paced department with frequent large heavy shipments. Therefor the applicant must be in good physical health and be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Additional Details
This position reports to the warehouse supervisor. However you need to be capable of working independently with little supervision. Regular delivery to branch store, pickups and providing assistance to store sales staff and customers on inventory matters are part of the duties for this position. This position requires handling outgoing shipments and preparation of related documents, scheduling incoming shipments, inventory pricing and entry to computer, warehouse upkeep and minor building maintenance (when required).
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Clean valid BC driver license (with proof)
- Some computer experience
- Clean criminal record (confirmed by local police department)
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Past Forklift certification not required but an asset
