Position: Sales Professional
PURPOSE:
Sell and promote our services to commercial customers
Primary focus is on the development of new business and building relationships with an existing customer base
Act as liaison between the customer and Departments when required
Work closely with the our Agencies and Departments to ensure all customers expectations are being met
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solicit new revenue opportunities from new and existing users
Maintain and increase revenue opportunities from the top charge account customers in an assigned territory
Make regularly appointments and develop affinity between us and customers
Meet and exceed monthly revenue quota (assigned as per Sales Manager)
Submit accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as Customer Contact files
Work closely with regional sales, operations and agency teams, ensuring revenue opportunities are maximized
Comply with all corporate policies and procedures
Work in an office environment, with travel throughout the assigned region
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business
Strong communicator
Self starter, highly motivated
Minimum one-year courier or freight sales experience (preferred)
University degree or college diploma in business
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Experience with CRM, Salesforce.com (preferred)
