Software Developer - Element Management And Java Ee

BBG is looking for an Element Management Software Developer to join our client's dynamic team working on leading edge products and projects. The successful candidate has proven experience with Element Management Systems development in a Java EE environment As part of the team, the successful candidate will be empowered to provide technical leadership to both the customer and Northforge software development teams.

Required Skills:

· Proven experience working in element or network management domains
· Java programming skills
· 2 or more years of experience with Java Enterprise Edition, Hibernate, and SQL database technology
· Experience with SNMP and/or CLI or other management interfaces

Assets:
· Experience with SOAP, RESTful or other web services
· Experience with Javascript, GWT preferred
· Developing with the SCRUM Agile software methodology
· Linux and/or Windows networking tools
· Open source integration experience
· Experience with C/C++
· Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 networking and protocols
· Experience with UI/UX design

· Demonstrated ability to effectively work directly with customers
· Demonstrated ability to create top notch software architectures
· Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
· Ability to work and influence the customer requirements and needs

Education and Experience

BSc or higher degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent
5+ years of experience in software development
